Doctoral Seminar Continues Work

On February 17, 2020, the next doctoral seminar was held at the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, under the guidance of Professor Lyudmila Safronova.

By tradition, doctoral students discuss the content of their research work, receive recommendations from the audience present. This time, two reports were listened and discussed. Akmaral Umarova, 2nd year doctoral student of the specialty «6D011800 - Russian Language and Literature», made a presentation on the topic «CLIL technology for teaching the Russian language in multilingual education at a Kazakhstani pedagogical university». The 2nd year doctoral student of the specialty «6D021300 - Linguistics» Erol Turashbek prepared a presentation on the topic «Functioning of English-language lexemes in the field of healthy lifestyle (based on media)».

Professor Gulmira Kazhigalieva and professor Damina Shaibakova, the supervisors of doctoral students who were present at the seminar, commented on the speeches of students and determined the next steps for writing a dissertation.
