Acquaintance of 1st year students with the electronic library

On September 14, 2022-2023 academic year, a special information week of the university`s scientific library was planned for 1st year students of the Institute of Philology.

Head of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation N.N. Konkabayeva, advisors A.S.Zhumabayeva, S. Meirkhan, A. Sebdayyrova in the specialty «Teacher of Oriental Language with Knowledge of English» conducted a visit to the university library for students of the Korean and Chinese departments. First-year students were acquainted with its holdings and electronic resources, the study room with its application possibilities and the comfortable seats equipped with modern technology, which are very convenient for students to work in. New readers were shown how to get information, the process of downloading e-books and how to use them was clearly presented. Students expressed their gratitude for having such a wide range of applications for the university`s state-of-the-art digital library.
