Dangers of drug and alcohol addiction to human life

On March 25, 2022, Didar Mamyrbayev, a teacher of the World History Department of the Institute of History and Law, conducted an educational work for the 1st year students of the 102nd group of the specialty «6B02209-History-Geography» on the topic «Dangers of drug and alcohol addiction to human life».

D. Mamyrbayev dwelled on the consequences of drug addiction and alcoholism, especially among young people. According to him, these addictions are a cross to human life. Video clips and slides were shown that the beginning of addiction to various psychoactive substances are ordinary cigarettes and alcoholic beverages. In addition, psychological support was provided to each student, who experienced the difficulties of the new life, when he came to a large metropolis, communicated with strangers, choosing friends. The educational hour, held online, took place in accordance with the institute`s plan.
