189 Doctoral and 609 Master`s Students Admitted to Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University on State Grants

For the 2025-2026 academic year, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University has admitted 609 master`s and 189 doctoral students through state educational grants allocated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Nationwide, over 10 000 grants were allocated for master`s degree programs and nearly 3 000 grants for doctoral studies. Within this framework, KazNPU, as the country`s leading pedagogical university, continues to offer high-quality education and research opportunities at the postgraduate level for young scholars and future professionals.

The application period for master`s programs was held from August 12 to 18, while applications for doctoral programs were accepted from July 3 to August 3. Prospective students had the option to submit their documents online through a virtual admissions office or in traditional in-person format.

Grant recipients will have the opportunity to enhance their research and professional skills and master modern educational approaches. The master`s programs are implemented based on curricula aligned with international standards, while doctoral programs focus on strengthening scientific research capacity.
