Abai University faculty participated in the international project `Summer Institute-2025`

 Professors of Abai University Asel Abzalkyzy and Dinara Bazarhanovna Umarova participated in the international educational project `Summer Institute - 2025. Youth. Science. Future`, organized at Pskov State University and other leading Russian universities.

  For two weeks, 25 teacher and young researchers from 8 countries worked on five academic and educational projects, attended lectures, workshops, seminars, and educational excursions. A significant part of the program included internships at leading universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg: Herzen State Pedagogical University, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, and Pushkin State Russian Language Institute.

Participation in the project was a valuable experience for Abai University professors as it provided an opportunity to:

✔ immerse themselves in the Russian academic and educational environment;

✔ exchange professional knowledge and expertise with colleagues from different countries;

✔ become familiar with modern teaching methods and academic practices;

✔ expand international scientific contacts.

The program also had a strong cultural component. Participants visited historical and cultural landmarks of the Pskov region: Pushkin`s family estate in Mikhailovskoye, merchants` chambers, ancient monasteries and churches, Pushkin Hills, Izborsk, and learned about the traditions and lifestyle of the Seto people.

This experience is especially significant, as language exists in inseparable connection with culture, history, traditions, and the way of life of a people.

The `Summer Institute`project once again proved its role as an important platform for professional development, strengthening international academic cooperation, and promoting the Russian language abroad.
