`A webinar `How to turn an idea into a profitable startup` has been organized

At the beginning of the new academic year 2025-2026, the Department of Science organized a webinar for university postdoctoral students on the topic `How to turn an idea into a profitable startup?`.

The speakers: M.Absatova, Director of the Department of Science; U.Kenzhebayeva, Head of the Office for the Commercialization of Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities, and A.Nakisbekov, Senior Specialist. During the event, they shared their experience and practical recommendations on creating a competitive and in-demand product, as well as ideas for the commercialization of scientific research.

Special attention was given to the fact that startups are not only about technologies, but also about ideas, values, and people. The speakers emphasized the important role of scholars from the humanities, who contribute to the development of projects through communication, storytelling, marketing, cultural adaptation, and building unique teams.

The participants were presented with real cases of young startup founders, inspiring success stories, as well as an algorithm for building a business model and finding funding opportunities.
