Round table "Abai zhane Rukhani zhanguiru"

On 10 August, 2018 at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in honor of the 173rd anniversary of the birth of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev, a round table was held on the theme "Abai zhane Rukhani zhanguiru".

The event began with a ceremony of laying flowers at the monument to the poet.

The vice-rector on educational work and social development Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev opened the work of the round table. In his speech, he noted the large-scale work of the university to study and promote Abai`s heritage.

In turn, the director of the research center "Hakim Abai" Zhabal Shoyinbet in his report emphasized the special role of Abai`s heritage in the spiritual and moral education of youth.

Director of the Institute of Philology and Mulilinguage Education, Professor Baltabay Abdigaziuly, scientists of the Department of Kazakh Literature named after S.Kibaev Temirkhan Tebegenov, Marat Bekbosynov, Alpysbai Tamaev, Gaukhar Mahash, scientist-physicist Kamal Rakhmankulov took part in the event. The participants of the round table discussed the issues of translation of Abai`s creative heritage into world languages ​​and studying the philosophical worldview of the poet.

At the end of the round table, a number of concrete proposals were adopted to deepen the study of the heritage of the great poet and to effectively implement the results obtained in the learning process.
