       On 16 March 2017,  German Embassy together with  Public Association of Germans in Kazakhstan "Revival" and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan hold   International Scientific and Practical Conference on Development, Education and Cooperation  issues with German Universities, which  took place at the National Academic Library of the RK and was devoted to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Kazakhstan.

       During this conference , which was themed  "Together we create the future: education in Germany and Kazakhstan", aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of education, as well as its potential and prospects were covered. Four panel sessions were held, within the framework of which discussions took place on topics such as collaboration  in the field of higher education, policies in the field of school education, vocational education and culture and education policy. The general aim of the conference was to strengthen and expand the existing structures of German-Kazakh cooperation.

       Representatives  of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and German and Kazakh educational institutions took part in the conference. Our university was represented by the pro-rector for  academic and methodical work, Professor Gabit K.  Kenzhebayev  and Head of the International Cooperation Department, Professor Nurbanu A. Abueva.

      Abai KazNPU actively cooperates with many universities in Germany, and the eased right to study at the university for Kazakh students and free basic education in German universities, since September 2015, increase the attractiveness of Germany as a country of education.

     The "Maqna Charta Universitatum" agreement signed in 2007 ensured the recognition of the diploma of our university in all educational institutions of the Bologna Agreement and enabled the graduates to continue their education in a number of educational institutions not only in Germany but throughout Europe, thus making an important step towards European educational space.
