At Abai KazNPU took place the project presentation " Uly dala zhastari/ The Great Steppe youth"

In the framework of the program "Modernization of Kazakhstan`s identity" at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was held a meeting to explain the main provisions of the new project " The Great Steppe youth".

The project aim is to help young people to develop entrepreneurial thinking, to open special courses so that youth can freely learn foreign languages, constantly improve their knowledge and skills within the chosen profession. The project is designed not only for students, also for scholarship holders of the "Bolashak" program.

The project includes six areas of modernization of civil self-awareness of the youth of the university system. There are the pragmatism, the preservation of national identity, the cult of knowledge, the creative thinking, the readiness for change and challenges, the competitiveness. And it is aimed at developing personal qualities, realizing the potential capabilities and abilities of a person.

In the course of the meeting, head of the Project Office of the program "Modernization of Kazakhstan`s identity", the adviser of Almaty Mayor Gulnara Konyrova noted the importance and significance of this project.

"Within the framework of the program "Modernization of Kazakhstan`s identity" will be envisaged the four main subprograms:" Upbringing and Knowledge "," Fatherland "," Spiritual treasure " and" Information wave". In order to implement the Program in a qualitative way and coordinate work with state bodies, in Almaty was established the Project Office. Today`s meeting is an installation meeting for the upcoming big work. Within the framework of the subprogram " Upbringing and Knowledge " in all universities will be implemented the project " The Great Steppe youth ", - she said.

The event was attended by students and responsible employees of universities in Almaty, representatives of youth organizations, representatives of mass media, as well as the project office employers .

At the end of the meeting, the speakers answered the students questions . Also was recommended until the end of October of current year, to provide a draft subproject " The Great Steppe youth in the university" to the Office of Program Management and to organize the creation of Project offices / laboratories for the implementation of the program "Modernization of Kazakhstan`s identity".
