Open Day at Abai University

On May 4, 2024, an Open Day was held at Abai University, the country`s leading pedagogical university. The event was attended by applicants and their parents from Almaty and other regions of the country.

The goal is to enable future students to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the university, get acquainted with its curricula, infrastructure and student life. The participants of the event received important information about the flagship of pedagogical education in Kazakhstan. The educational programs of bachelor`s, master`s and doctoral degrees and unique opportunities to strengthen the professional abilities of university students were presented.

The Open Day provided applicants with an opportunity to understand how the university meets their academic and career goals. More than 180 educational programs aimed at training specialists in accordance with international standards, as well as dual degree and academic mobility programs strengthen students` knowledge at every stage of their studies and contribute to the development of necessary skills on the career path.

Abai University is distinguished by high standards of education and advanced teaching methods, is an intellectual center with active scientific research and innovative approaches, trains teaching staff of a new formation that meets international standards and labor market requirements. In addition, the university constantly conducts professional development and retraining of existing teachers from all over the country.

At the end of the event, the participants highly appreciated the information work on the activities of the university, ways of choosing a profession, as well as employment prospects. The open day was held at a high level, representatives of the university answered in detail the questions of applicants and their parents, provided important information about student life and educational programs.
