"Pedagogical universities of the CIS countries to support family education: traditions, experience, prospects"

On December 4, 2024, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University took part in a round table on the topic "Pedagogical universities of the CIS countries to support family education: traditions, experience, prospects". The round table was organized by the Public Council of Moscow State Pedagogical University - the basic organization for the training of teaching staff of the CIS member states, the Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities.

On behalf of KazNPU, the following took part: the faculty of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Arenova A.Kh., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Akpayeva A.B., PhD, Associate Professor Abitova G.T., PhD, Associate Professor Alimbekova A.A., PhD, Associate Professor Nietbaeva G.B., Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Aganina K.Zh., Candidate of Psychological Sciences. Nadirbekova A.O., scientific secretary of the UMO RUMS at KazNPU named after Abay Assymova D.B.. The head of the department of preschool education and social pedagogy, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor Kiyakbaeva Ulbolsyn made a report on the topic: "Experience of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay in supporting and accompanying family education." During the round table, the experience, methods and innovative approaches in working with parents were discussed.

Current topics such as raising children, family mentality, balance of practice-oriented and scientific and methodological content, social partnership of the pedagogical university and the family: focus on development, approaches to ensuring the readiness of future teachers to interact with parents based on the difficulties and requests of the subjects of interaction, etc. were raised.
