“Abai” Scholarship Awarded to Talented Students

In 2024, the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University established the "Abai" scholarship to support talented students. This initiative was launched by the Chairman of the Board, Rector Bolat Tilep. Over 20 students participated in the program for the first time, and 10 students were selected as recipients of the "Abai" scholarship through a competitive process. It is worth mentioning that all 10 of the first "Abai" scholarship recipients were also winners of the Presidential Scholarship.

This year, the initiative continues to thrive, and on the eve of the 180th anniversary of the great Abai, the scholarship not only provides financial support but also motivates students to achieve academic success. On April 4, 2025, a selection process was held by an independent commission among 27 top-performing students of the university who were candidates for the "Abai" scholarship. As a result, the "Abai" scholarship was awarded to 10 students, recognized for their excellent academic performance and active involvement in the university`s scientific research and community events.

The recipients of the "Abai" scholarship will receive a stipend for one academic term, which will be paid monthly.
