16.04.2025 Best Student - 2025 On April 14, 2025, as part of the traditional Science Week at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, the "Best Student - 2025" competition was held. It was organized among 2nd and 3rd year students and dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbaev.
The main goal of the competition was to identify active students of the faculty who have distinguished themselves in academics, student self-governance, sports, creativity, and other areas. The most active and successful students of the faculty took part in the competition.
To ensure fair judging and a high level of organization, renowned figures from the university and the city were invited to serve as the jury: Director of Schoolchildren`s House No. 1 in Almaty Daurkhan Kozhakhmetov; Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics and Education Digitalization, Bolashak scholarship holder Altynbek Moshkalov; Head of the National Education Department "Khakim Abai" under the Department of Social and Youth Policy Janar Zhaimakhanova; and primary school teacher at the private school "Urker" and winner of "Best Student - 2022" Aymerek Shubai.
The competition consisted of three stages. In the first stage, 10 participants were selected from 15 applicants. In the second stage, students delivered self-presentations on the topic "I`m the best student" and defended projects on given topics. In the third stage, participants answered questions in the format "Do you know?".
As a result of the competition, the title "Best Student - 2025" and First Degree Diploma were awarded to Gulnaz Berikkyzy, a 2nd-year student majoring in "Primary Education with ICT." The Second Degree Diploma went to Shakhrizada Mugau, a 2nd-year student majoring in "Primary Education with Multilingualism." The Third Degree Diploma was awarded to Niyazkhan Temirkhanuly, a 2nd-year student majoring in "Special Pedagogy: Speech Therapy."
At the conclusion of the competition, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Aktoty Akzholova, delivered the closing remarks and wished the students continued success.
