The Department of Kazakh literature and teaching methods named after academician S. Kirabayev the dissertation work of a PhD student passed preliminary defense

On June 23, 2025, at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, PhD student of the specialty 6D011700 - Kazakh Language and Literature, Yerkіnbek Turgunov, successfully held the pre-defense of his dissertation titled "Methodology of Teaching Beimbet Mailin`s Works in Higher Education."

The event was organized by the Department of Kazakh Literature and Teaching Methodology named after academician S. Kiraibayev. The session was attended by department faculty members, the scientific advisor, and leading experts in the field. The research was highly evaluated for its relevance and methodological contribution.

In his dissertation, Turgunov focuses on integrating Beimbet Mailin`s literary heritage into the higher education curriculum, developing effective teaching strategies, and providing literary and methodological analysis.

Following the pre-defense, several valuable recommendations and revisions were suggested for the final version of the work. This stage marks a significant milestone in the doctoral candidate`s academic journey.
