Educational Grants Are Also Allocated from the Local Budget

Since 2017, the Akimat of Zhetysu Region has been awarding educational grants to graduates of regional schools funded by the local budget.

These grants are distributed according to the region`s labor market needs, covering specialties such as pedagogy, medicine, agriculture, arts, engineering, information technology, and others.

The majority of these educational grants are allocated to students from large and low-income families, orphans, those left without parental care, children with disabilities, children whose parents are disabled, those who have lost one parent, and children whose parents divorced at least three years ago.

After completing their studies, grant recipients are required to work within the region for at least three years.
