Psychological training with students of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute

On April 13, 2023 psychologists of the «Psychological Service» sector in the Abai Student Center held a psychological training «Creative thinking: development of creativity», which was attended by students of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute.

The main objectives of the training were the realization of the students of creativity in themselves and its development, as well as the development of students` ability to find non-standard ways of solving problems, the formation of skills and abilities of management of the creative process.

The training began with an exercise-acquaintance «Alias», aimed at establishing contact between the students and their acquaintance with each other. In order to relax the students, an exercise called «Rest» was conducted next. To warm up before the main part the exercise «Repeat after me» aimed at involving participants in the process of group interaction, creation of emotional background and development of creative thinking was carried out with the students. The main part of the training consisted of exercises «Draw Creativity» and «But You», aimed at creating a positive atmosphere in the group, training of creative thinking and creativity. The final stage of the training was relaxation in the format of art-therapy, during which the students showed their creative skills and abilities.

At the end of the training the students shared their positive impressions and gave feedback in the form of drawings on wadding paper.
