Abai University teachers awarded the title of «Best University Teacher – 2024»

The Republican Competition Commission announced the names of the winners of the prestigious annual competition "The Best University Teacher - 2024", which has become a real celebration of the recognition of professionalism and scientific talent. This year, 946 outstanding teachers from 90 leading universities of Kazakhstan competed for the honorary title.

Among the worthy winners, two Abai University teachers were awarded the title of «Best University Teacher». They are Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Marfuga Absatova (Best University Teacher - 2012, 2024)  and postdoctoral fellow, PhD Nurbol Usenov. The scientific works of the teachers are recognized as the best in the field of their work.

The evaluation criteria included the development and publication of electronic learning resources, scientific publications in domestic and international journals, patents for inventions and other achievements. The quality of teaching and contribution to staff training at all levels of education, from undergraduate to doctoral studies, were also assessed.

The annual competition is aimed at supporting and stimulating the professional growth of teachers and increasing the prestige of their profession. In addition to monetary rewards, the winners will receive a well-deserved badge for high achievements in education and science.
