The delegation of the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz at Abai University

On February 27, 2025, a meeting was held at the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with a delegation from Uzbekistan. The event, organized by the Department of International Cooperation, aimed at developing partnership relations and expanding cooperation in the field of education.

The delegation included: the Director of the International Department of the Nukus National Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz, Kazim Keulimzhaevich Uteniazov, Head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, Irysty Abdirahmanovna Quttimuratova, as well as the Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Iskakova Aygul Toleutaevna - Director of the Department of International Cooperation - Saparaliyeva Bayan Oralhanovna, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology - Baykaraev Bekbolat Kurmangazyuly.

The main goal of the meeting was to discuss the prospects for cooperation between the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz.

Throughout the discussions, the idea of launching a double degree program was discussed, which would allow students from both universities to earn diplomas from both institutions. This project is aimed at deepening academic exchange and expanding opportunities for students in the international context. Active participation of faculty members and researchers in joint scientific publications is also planned. One of the proposed steps is the opening of a branch of the Faculty of Philology at the Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Azhiniyaz. This initiative could make a significant contribution to the development of the educational process and scientific research in the field of philology, as well as strengthen cultural and academic ties between the two countries.
