Abai KazNPU cooperates with Chinese universities

On May 12-13, 2025, a conference on cooperation between China and Central Asia in the format of "Industry-University-Science-Application" is being held in the city of Urumqi, China. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education of China and the People`s Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Xinjiang Pedagogical University are organizing thematic small forums within the framework of this prestigious conference, focusing on educational cooperation within the "Silk Road" and international Chinese language teaching in Xinjiang.

This small forum serves as a specialized platform aimed at deepening educational interactions, developing sustainable institutional partnerships, and promoting the implementation of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.

The forum brought together leading industry leaders, scholars, and experts to explore innovative ways of educational collaboration.

Representing Abai University at the forum are Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Banu Narbekova, Head of the Department of Educational Program Analysis Nurchamal Oshanova, and Head of the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology Gulia Alihankizi.

Within the framework of the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding on mutual cooperation was signed between Abai University, Xinjiang Pedagogical University, Hong Kong Education University, and Beijing Pedagogical University.
