Seminar “Digital Poetry: New Trends in Literary Studies”

As part of the scientific project "Zhas Galym" AP22685804 "Integration Potential of a Digital Platform for Studying Poetry", funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024-2026, a seminar was held for students of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Abai University. The seminar was conducted by the project leader, postdoctoral researcher M.B. Moldagali, and the scientific consultant, Doctor of Philology, Professor S.D. Abisheva.

The seminar "Digital Poetry: New Trends in Literary Studies" sparked lively interest among students. During the event, participants were introduced to the fundamentals and boundaries of digital poetry, its history, stages of development, and structural features. Modern methods for analyzing digital poems were presented, highlighting the specific nature of perceiving poetic texts in a digital environment.

Special attention was given to the practical component: students analyzed examples of digital poetry, discussed the peculiarities of their form, content, and interaction with the reader. The students` active participation, interest in the topic, and deep reflections on the future of literary studies in the digital age served as a clear indicator of the relevance of the seminar.

The event was held in a warm and creative atmosphere and marked an important step in advancing the project`s scientific ideas and popularizing digital approaches to literature among young people.
