The Rector of Abai University Took Part in the State Flag Raising Ceremony

On June 4, 2025, in honor of the Day of State Symbols, a solemn flag-raising ceremony was held in Almaty, organized by the special unit of the Presidential Guard "Batyr."

The patriotic event took place at the high-mountain sports complex "Medeu" and brought together many participants, including the Akim (Mayor) of Almaty Darhan Satybaldy, Chairman of the Board - Rector of Abai University Bolat Tilep, more than 200 active university students, figures of culture and sports, public activists, representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and youth organizations, as well as local residents.

As the State Flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan was raised, the national anthem was performed by the B. Baikadamov Choral Chapel and the Almaty Garrison Wind Orchestra.

After the official ceremony, the audience enjoyed a concert program featuring leading creative groups and performers of the city. The repertoire included patriotic and pop songs such as "Qazaqstanym," "Otan," "Tugan Zher," "Tugan Zherim Tamasha," "Süyikti Elim," "Men Qazaqpyn," "Uly Dala," "Qazaǵym," and "Atameken."
