An outstanding classic of Kazakh literature met with the team of Abai KazNPU

 

The next lecture of the Center «Uly dala tulgalary», aimed at educating students and youth of Abai KazNPU, was devoted to the work of the national writer of Kazakhstan, USSR State Prize laureate Abdizhamil Nurpeisov. A 95-year-old famous Kazakh writer came to meet with students.


Opening the event, the rector of the university, professor Takir Balykbayev mentioned the writer`s work.


- The novel-epic of Mukhtar Auezov «The Way of Abay» glorified the Kazakhs around the world, the works of Abdzhamil Karimuly, who became a worthy student of the great teacher, continued this glorious path, and they are recognized far beyond our homeland. «Courland» - the first novel of a young man who survived the Great Patriotic War - made it clear to everyone that he was a good writer. And his famous trilogy «Blood and Sweat» remained an unprecedented story not only of Aral fishermen, but of the entire Kazakh people.


Abai KazNPU professor, philosopher Temirkhan Tebegenov spoke in detail about the writer`s work. Moldahmet Khanaz, a well-known writer of our country, spoke about the fate of the writer and the moral qualities of Abdijamil Karimuly. The prominent writer Smagul Elubaev emphasized the patriotic and valiant qualities of Abdijamil Nurpeisov. Academician Aliya Beisenova said that Abdijamil Nurpeisov is a world-class writer, and he was moved by the respect of our people for himself and his family.


And Nurpeisov spoke about his great teacher Mukhtar Auezov, about the outstanding writer Sabit Mukanov, about the poets Tair Zharokov, Kuandyk Shangytbaev and other colleagues.


University rector Takir Balykbaуev awarded Abdijamil Nurpeisov with a diploma of an honorary professor of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and presented him with the mantle of an honorary professor of our university.
