Vacant position:

Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports

The main functional responsibilities of the structural unit:

- Works in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, collective agreement and work schedule;

- Reports on its actions, activities.

- Receives from the director of the Institute information on regulatory and organizational and methodological measures, gets acquainted with the relevant documents against signature;

 - issues orders to the director of the institute on the organization of the educational process;

- Regularly exchanges information with other deputy directors of the Institute, teaching staff of the university on issues within its competence;

- During the period of temporary absence of the Director of the Institute (vacation, illness, etc.), fulfills his responsibilities. The fulfillment of duties is carried out on the basis of the order of the director or the order of the head of the authorized body (education department) in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Charter of the educational institution and the rules of the internal labor schedule.

Main job responsibilities:

- prepares and organizes documents for the teaching load of teaching staff.

- participates in classes and other events conducted by teachers, analyzes the content and form of classes, informs teachers about the expert opinion;

- ensures timely high-quality execution of reporting documents.

- coordinates the implementation of state compulsory educational standards for teachers, general education programs and plans for institute and elective courses, the development of documentation.

- controls the quality and timeliness of students passing certification.

- takes documents for systematic control and bears responsibility.

- monitors the results of the year and half of the academic year.

- organizes the timely and high-quality maintenance of the certification of classrooms, workshops, a sports hall, as well as ancillary premises with the participation of the deputy director for administrative work.

Education:

higher education, at least a master`s degree.

Required professional experience (duration, scope, other)

- work experience of at least 3-5 years. A department specialist must have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform official duties; - direction of activity, organizational work, a systematic approach to solving problems, consulting, work with various sources of information, development of regulatory and other documents for the systematization and preparation of information materials.

Professional competencies:

The specialist must be able to draw up reports, certificates, business letters, draft orders, keep minutes.

Personal competencies and qualities:

Innovation, ability to work with information, achieve set goals, be restrained and patient, show initiative and courage, politeness and confidence; ability to work in a team, focus on self-development, constructiveness.

Knowledge of languages, including the state language (list of languages that the candidate must speak)

Kazakh, Russian 

Computer skills:

Good command of MS Office packages (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, WordPad), graphic editors (Picture Manager, CorelDRAW), work with e-mail (Outlook Express). Reliable work with different browsers (Opera, Firefox, Chrome).
