Webinar of the «Tariqha sayhat» Historical Club
Science is the sea, knowledge is a boat in its vastness. This popular Kazakh proverb very accurately reflects the close connection of science and education. The webinar of the «Tariqha sayhat» historical club of the Institute of History and Law, held on April 25, 2020, on the topic «How History and Schools are Studying and Teaching in Kazakhstan Today», addressed issues about current trends and new directions in historical science, and the introduction of new disciplines in educational process at universities for the specialty «History» and about the essence of updating historical education in schools of the republic.
At this meeting, associate professor T. Dalaeva and PhD, a teacher Belous S.G., leaders of the historical club «Tariqha sayhat», presented publications of the research center «Aitylgan Tarih» under the guidance of Doctor of Historical Sciences, academician M. Koigeldiev.
Special guest - Konstantinov A.E., Deputy Head of the Center for Methodological Support of the Education Department of the Akimat of the Kostanai Region, graduate student of the South Ural State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University. He spoke about the work of the region`s teachers in the transition to distance learning. First-year undergraduate of the specialty «History», a graduate of the bachelor`s program of our university, I. Sadybekov shared his experience of work in the school and offered for discussion the updated content of textbooks on the history of Kazakhstan and World History. U. Karimbayeva, a 3rd year student of the specialty «History», told about the past practice in this school year and focused on ethics and etiquette in the digital communications space.
Webinar participants expressed their opinion (Senior Lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan named after Academician T.S.Sadykov of the Institute of History and Law Tleubayev Sh.B., 3rd year students of the specialty «History» Kasanbek J. and Kudaibergenov D.).
