Institute of History and Law | |
One of the first structural subdivisions of the University, established in 1934, was the Faculty of History, later transformed into the Institute of History and Law. Currently, the Institute of History and Law is a structural subdivision of KazNPU named after Abay, which aims to ensure the high quality of education, to implement the values of the national program «Mangilik El», to form a sense of patriotism, heroic spirit on the example of the life of the Kazakh Khans, biys and batyrs.
The Institute has four departments, which train highly qualified specialists - bachelors, masters and doctors (PhD) in accordance with state educational standards, standard curricula and other regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Professor and teaching staff of the departments are constantly improving their scientific potential, educating young professionals from among their graduates, who have already become major scientists themselves.
At this stage in the development of the Institute of History and Law, a strong tradition has been established of providing quality education of the highest level in the field of scientific research, as well as in the field of professional ethics. In line with the demands of modern society, the Institute`s teaching staff ensure the high quality of education.
THE INSTITUTE`S OBJECTIVES ARE: - Provision of high-quality educational services at the level of world standards, which implies a comprehensive and consistent implementation of the basic principles of activity; - Updating the content of pedagogical education through the introduction of fundamentally new educational programs focused on the integrated, interdisciplinary nature and constant involvement into the educational process of new knowledge, the most effective and popular educational practices; - improving the quality of educational services and ensuring the continuity of levels of an integral three-stage model of professional education (bachelor-master-doctorate PhD); - development of academic mobility programmes for students and teaching staff; - full-scale implementation of innovative approaches in the educational process (credit-module structure of educational trajectories due to the diversity of types and forms of educational programmes); - improvement of teaching and methodological support and organisation of the learning process on the basis of innovative educational technologies; - Creation of appropriate infrastructure to ensure the implementation of these approaches in educational programmes of innovative character.
STRUCTURE OF THE INSTITUTE: Consists of a directorate and four departments. Director of the Institute of History and Law - Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Adil Maulenovich Junusov.
