Conference: Inspection audit of anti-corruption management system ISO 37001-2016

On December 28, 2021, at Abai KazNPU an online conference was held on inspection audit of the management system of anti-corruption ISO 37001-2016.

The conference was attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs M.A. Bektemessov, Vice-Rector for Science E.A. Buribayev, Vice-Rector for Administration and Finance K.T. Isakova, Commissioner for ethics and prevention of corruption risks S.U. Nurgisaev, Head of audit team of EVROCERT (Belgrade, Serbia) Jova Lojanica, expert auditor of EVROSERT V.I. Soloviev.

Activities aimed at combating corruption and compliance with the principles of academic integrity in the university are carried out in accordance with the instructions (protocol decisions) of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, as well as a comprehensive plan approved by the Department of the Agency for Anti-Corruption in Almaty together with the national project office "SANALY URPAQ".

As we reported last year, during the certification audit, the Parasat Centre was established at our university in September 2019, which developed and implemented an anti-corruption management system of international standard ISO 37001-2016.

At the same time, two training seminars were held to train the working group and internal auditors of the anti-corruption management system ISO 37001:2016 with a total of 134 people, covering employees from all structural units of the university. In the course of this work, we determined the number and composition of the AMS documents and their integration into the existing system. The Anti-Corruption Policy was developed and approved. Today, copies of this bilingual document are hanging on the wall in all departments and faculties.
