On 27 April, 2017 by the initiative of the pro-rector for academic work of Abai KazNPU professor Aktolkyn .T. Kulsariyeva, Department of Philological Disciplines for Foreign Citizens and Pre-University Preparation of the Faculty for Foreign Citizens and the Pre-University Training (Foundation) and Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education organized and conducted an excursion for foreign students from the Zhejiang Yuexiu University of Foreign Languages and the Sanya University , who training by the academic mobility program.
        Teachers V.A Kazabeeva and M.K. Abaeva with students visited the Republic Square, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan , "Medeu" high-mountain skating rink and Shymbulak Ski Resort.
         Students liked the excursion very much , especially they remembered the picturesque landscapes of the Medeu and Shymbulak.
