The results of the training seminar "Foresight in the educational space"

From October to November 2024, a training seminar on the topic "Foresight in the knowledge space" was held within the walls of Abai KazNPU. This event has become a unique platform for discussing future trends and global changes in the field of education. The seminar was remembered as an important step towards bringing together teachers, scientists and students to create new models of education.

The seminar was held with the support of the university administration. In particular, the vice-rector for Academic Affairs, Banu Narbekova. Dean of the Faculty of Philology Alua Tanzharikova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages Serik Ivatov, Senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages Zabira Yeshimbetova, moderator of the seminar, lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages Gulzhaina Nurbekova spoke at the opening of the seminar. The main speaker of the seminar was Elena Muzykina, PhD, coach of the UN and UNICEF programs and Advisor to the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The seminar program consisted of lectures, practical exercises and interactive modules. The main topics covered in it are the theory of Post-cultural time. The participants discussed how globalization and digitalization affect the education system; methods of Foresight. Strategies for modeling the future and building educational trajectories are considered; analysis of global challenges. The problems of modern education and their solutions are studied; technologies of the future. Special attention was paid to the role of innovative educational platforms and artificial intelligence. During the seminar, each topic was supplemented with practical tasks. For example, in the module "Department of the future", the participants together with the team developed projects that meet the requirements of the future.

The seminar ended with a final session. The Foresight in Education seminar has become not only a platform for discussing innovative approaches in the field of education, but also an important step towards creating future educational models. The participants gained new knowledge and practical tools, and were inspired for the future.
