"Similarities and differences of the 3R and 6R concepts, their possibilities of implementation in Abai University"

On December 05, 2024, activists of the Ayala eco club held a training within the framework of the discipline "Ecology and Sustainable Development" at the Faculty of Philology of Abai KazNPU. In total, 130 students took part in the training, games and quizzes were organized, in which students took part with great interest. This is proof that students are not indifferent to the problem of waste.

The purpose of the training: To reveal the essence of the concepts 3R and 6R, their similarities and differences, as well as the possibility of their implementation within the walls of KazNPU. Abaya to reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment. The mission: Formation of ecological culture and promotion of sustainable development ideas.

Tasks completed during the training:
- consider ways to implement the 3R and 6R concepts to minimize waste at the university;
- identify the main similarities and differences between the two concepts and convey them to students;
- explain the importance and necessity of moving from the 3R concept to the more extended 6R concept;
- to increase the environmental responsibility of students.
