A psychological cinema was held in the hostel

From December 2 to December 6, 2024, a psychological cinema organized by the Psychological Support Service with students of dormitories on the theme «Korkynysh pen kobalzhudy zhenu» was held.

The purpose of the psychological cinema is to help students overcome fear and panic through meaningful videos, give students an idea of the feeling of fear, help strengthen internal balance and encourage students to show compassion to each other in any situation.

During the event, informative videos were shown. The first showed that fear leads to inaction and ways to overcome it, the second is the influence of kindness on improving the world, well-being, and enjoying what you do. The discussion of the video took place in an atmosphere of mutual trust and openness. The students shared their feelings through the experience shown on the screen, understood the meaning of the video and drew conclusions. Psychological specialists shared specific techniques for dealing with negative thoughts, fears and panic. At the end of the event, the students asked questions and gave feedback.

More than 100 students of dormitories No. 1, 2, 3, 8 and 5 of our university took part in the psychological cinema.
