Activists of the Ayala eco-club took part in the city`s Ecoaction project as volunteers

On December 08, 2024, activists of the Ayala eco-club took part in the city`s Ecoaction project as volunteers. The action took place in the youth communal center of Almaly district. Purpose: to promote ecological culture, conscious consumption and waste sorting.

Ecologists of the 4th year of the Kazakh and Russian departments took part in the eco-action. They were pre-registered as volunteers, passed the relevant prescription and completed their activities to implement SDG No. 12. The public thanked the active students who proved themselves during the campaign.

An eco-fair was held as part of the event. There, local entrepreneurs offered environmentally friendly products. There was also an exchange of books and other interactive events.

Tasks performed by activists of the Ayala eco-club during the campaign: instructing guests on sorting garbage: explaining to participants in which containers to put various symbols of plastic, paper, glass and organics; maintaining order at the site where sorting was carried out (clothes, shoes, books, accessories, dishes, electronics, discs, sports equipment etc.b.); interact with other volunteers to promptly solve emerging problems.
