Abai University Strengthens International Relations with Turkey

On December 26, 2024, an important meeting with representatives of the Republic of Turkey was held at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai. The event, organized by the Department of International Cooperation, was aimed at strengthening partnerships and developing cooperation in the field of education.

The meeting was attended by the Education Attaché of the Republic of Turkey Ayhan Korkmaz, Assistant Attaché Reyhan Isa, Physical Education and Military Training Teacher Ahmet Karaman, as well as Vice-Rector for Strategy and Internationalization of Abai University Aigul Iskakova, Vice-Rector for Social Development Maksat Zhakauov and Director of the International Cooperation Department Bayan Sapargalieva.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of establishing cooperation between Abai University and universities in Turkey. The participants discussed the prospects for academic mobility, including student and faculty exchange, as well as the development of joint educational and scientific projects.

During the dialogue, the parties expressed mutual interest in strengthening ties in the field of higher education, which will contribute to the professional growth of students and teachers, as well as strengthening the international image of universities in both countries. Abai University continues to actively develop international cooperation, providing its students and teachers with new opportunities for education, research and professional development.
