New Horizons in International Partnership: Abai University & FAU (Germany)

We are pleased to announce that Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, in collaboration with Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), has won the international project "The Network on International Education in South Caucasus and Central Asia at the Intersection of Educational Spaces", funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for 2025-2026.

The project leader is Professor, Dr. Anatoly Rakhoshkin (FAU, Germany). The project leader from Abai University is Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ulzharkyn Abdigapbarova. The project assistant is PhD student Madina Moldagali.

On January 10, 2025, the first meeting of the project research group took place, during which participants discussed key areas of work, approved the stages of project implementation, and assigned tasks. Representatives from the J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and Fergana State University are also involved in the project.

The implementation of the project will be an important step towards the integration of educational spaces in Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and Europe, creating new opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.
