Abai University scientists have studied the foreign experience of training school leaders

Within the framework of the grant financing project of the EOM of the Republic of Kazakhstan (IRN AR 23488334), the project developers are: Columbayeva Sh., Absatova M., Nurlanov Sh., Baynazar Zh. We studied the foreign experience of training school leaders from the People`s Republic of China and Azerbaijan.

A meeting was held at the Education University of Hong Kong with the President of EdUHK, the staff of the Faculty of Education and Human Development, as well as the head of the Asia-Pacific Center for Leadership and Change (APCLC).

Abai University researchers participated in sessions with professors: Dr. Jafang Lu presented a lecture on "A program for aspiring Directors", Professor Sedat Gumus (Head of APCLC) presented the topic "The nature and consequences of pedagogical leadership", Dr. Maxwell Ho held a session on "Educational Entrepreneurship: Leadership development in educational organizations".

At Beijing Normal University, scientists discussed and exchanged experiences on the implementation and training of school principals with representatives of the Faculty of Education, doctors: Zhang Yufeng, Shi Yin, Shi Jieping and Director of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation, Dr. Liu Jing.

At Baku State University (Azerbaijan), researchers held meetings and discussed the model of training school leaders with the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor R.A.Javadov, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Professor K.N. Nasymova, professors of the department N.Mukhtarova, I.Shikhaliyeva, N.Imanberdieva.
