Training session titled "Basics of First Aid in Emergency Situations,"

On January 22, 2025, the Department for Social and Youth Policy organized a training session titled "Basics of First Aid in Emergency Situations," conducted by the multidisciplinary medical center "A clinic."

The speaker of the training was Meiyerbek Kolbayev, the chief specialist of the Simulation Center of S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, Master of Medical Sciences, and General Practitioner.

During the event, the speaker emphasized the importance of learning first aid skills, stating: "The primary goal of first aid is to save a human life. The key is to learn how to act correctly in the first few seconds to keep the victim alive until medical professionals arrive. These recommendations will help you provide proper first aid to yourself, a companion, or anyone else in need."

Additionally, he demonstrated first aid techniques for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, fainting, and bleeding not only verbally but also using a mannequin and through examples involving student volunteers.
