«Interview: Prove Yourself to the Employer»

On February 5, 2025, the project «Interview: Prove yourself to an employer» was held in Almaty, organized by the Career Center at the Department of Career Guidance and Career Development of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai. The event was held at Gymnasium No. 208 of the Nauryzbai district of Almaty, which allowed students to acquire effective communication skills in working conversations.

The main goal of the project is to prepare students for the process of communicating with employers and expand their professional development paths. The event was attended by 21 students. They received answers to questions of various professional orientations, learned typical questions encountered in job interviews, and how to answer them correctly.

In addition, the skills and behavioral issues needed to meet the requirements of the employer were reviewed. The deputy director of the school, Nurbek Utebaev, personally asked the students questions and conducted an interview. As a result of the project, Talant Zhangabayuly, a student of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, was given the opportunity to find a job and start a career. As a continuation of this project, similar events will be held in different districts of Almaty every Wednesday until May this year.

This step is an important initiative aimed at increasing the professional potential of young people and supporting their employment.
