Seminar on the Topic Mandatory Three-Year Grant Repayment

On February 7, 2025, a seminar was held at Abai University as part of Order No. 403 of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The seminar focused on Explaining the rules for graduate job placement, reimbursement of budget expenses, independent employment, as well as exemption from or termination of obligations for employment repayment for citizens of Kazakhstan who studied under the state educational grant program.

Graduates from bachelors, masters, and doctoral programs across eight university faculties participated in the seminar, with a total of 448 students in attendance.

Opening the seminar, the head of the Mansap Center, Rakhymberdi Zhetibai, provided students with valuable information. He emphasized that both the government and the university are currently implementing systematic measures to support the employment of young specialists. He also highlighted the importance of such explanatory sessions in increasing graduates chances of successful employment.
