                                                       A Cognitive Lecture on Neuropsychological Aspects of the Learning Process Was Held


On February 10, 2025, a special cognitive lecture was organized for students by the Department of Preschool Education and Social Pedagogy.

The lecture was delivered by Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, President of the Kazakh Psychological Society Republican Public Association, and Academician of the Kazakh National Academy of Natural Sciences, Mukhan Perlenbetov. The organizer of the event was PhD, Acting Associate Professor of the department, Assem Bulshekbayeva.


The cognitive lecture was organized within the framework of the courses Practicum in Preschool Psychology and Social Psychology.

The purpose of the event was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the neuropsychological foundations of the learning process, to reveal the role of neuropsychology in educational practice, to demonstrate ways to develop cognitive processes, and to enhance the professional competence of future educators.

 

  During the lecture, topics such as the neuropsychological aspects of the learning process, the improvement of cognitive processes, the neurobiological foundations of learning, and modern pedagogical technologies were discussed.

Lecturer Mukhan Perlenbetov provided students with scientific and practical information on the fundamentals of neuropsychology, the role of brain function in the learning process, and ways to develop cognitive skills. In addition, practical examples were presented, and questions related to teaching methodologies were discussed.

The cognitive lecture was attended by the head of the department, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ulbossyn Kyyakbayeva, as well as the departments teaching staff. The participants exchanged views on the importance of neuropsychology in the modern education system and asked questions about the lecture content.

At the end of the lecture, students and faculty shared their impressions, emphasizing the importance of applying neuropsychological approaches in future educational practice. Such cognitive events contribute to increasing students scientific research interest and developing their professional competence.
