Meeting with Afghan War Veterans

On February 12, 2025, the Department of Initial Military Training held an open lesson with internationalist soldiers, dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan. The meeting brought together members of the Abiroi Veterans Union, faculty members of the Border Service Academy of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as professors and students of the department. During the event, veterans shared their experiences and memories of the events that took place in the combat zone.
