Students of Abai University are undergoing an internship in the city of Taldykorgan

Abai KazNPU students undergo teaching practice in Taldykorgan schools as part of cooperation with the Department of Education of Zhetysu region Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and the Department of Education of Zhetysu Region for the 2024/2025 academic year, about 20 fourth-year students of pedagogical specialties have been undergoing industrial teaching practice in secondary educational institutions of Taldykorgan since November 2024. The practice will continue until May 17, 2025.

The students have been provided with free dormitory accommodation with the support of Zhetysu University. This initiative allows future teachers to improve their professional skills, gain hands-on experience, and work directly with students. On February 13, 2025, as part of the teaching practice, a fourth-year student of the 6B01502 – Mathematics-Physics educational program, Kumyrolla Kurmangazy, conducted an open lesson at Sh. Ualikhanov School-Gymnasium No. 10 on the topic: Multiplication of a decimal fraction by a natural number. Multiplication of decimal fractions.

The open lesson was attended by:

✔ Director of the Department of Career Guidance and Career Development – Almas Abdimanapuly Naimanbayev;

✔ Director of the Department of Social and Youth Policy, Head of the Career Center – Rakhymberdi Kazhygaliuly Zhetibay;

✔ Director of Sh. Ualikhanov School-Gymnasium No. 10 – Aizhan Medetovna Zhumadilova; ✔ Deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work – Zhanna Akhmetkazykyzy Suleimenova;

✔ Mathematics Teacher – Zhanna Abakanovna Kozhabekova.

This initiative strengthens cooperation between the university and educational institutions while enhancing the professional development of future teachers.
