II stage of the sports event spartakiad-2025

On February 15, 2025, the second stage of the Spartakiada - 2025 sports event was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University among the faculty and staff of the university. The event was organized by the Department of Social and Youth Policy of the university. The opening ceremony was attended by the university`s Vice Rector for Social Development, Maksat Zhakauov, who wished good luck to all participants.

The sports competition, organized with the goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle, increasing physical activity, and strengthening team relationships among the faculty, specialists, and staff of the university, included four sports: tug-of-war, chess, table tennis, and volleyball.

After intense competition, the first place was taken by the team from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, the second place went to the Rectorate team, consisting of university administration staff, and the third place was claimed by the team from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography.

Additionally, active participants and teams that demonstrated a high level of skill, as well as winners from the Faculties of Physical Education and Military Training, Arts, Philology, History, and Law, were awarded certificates of appreciation, diplomas, and monetary prizes on behalf of the Chairman of the Board - Rector.

At the conclusion of the event, Maksat Zhakauov, the Vice Rector for Social Development, thanked the university`s Trade Union for their support and sponsorship in organizing the Spartakiada - 2025 sports event. He also sincerely congratulated all the teams and winners, wishing that such sports events would not only strengthen the unity of the team but also become one of the university`s traditional events.
