Meeting with Karlygash Kosbayeva

On February 20, 2025, a special meeting took place at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with the famous Kazakh designer, Kosbayeva Karlygash, who has made a significant impact in the fashion industry. This event was organized by the Department of Social Development and Youth Policy, in collaboration with the faculty members of the "Design" department of our university.

This event contributed greatly to the development of the university`s creative educational programs. During the meeting, Kosbayeva Karlygash shared her creative work, discussed the integration of national culture and traditions into modern fashion, and shared her professional career experiences.

The designer talked about her success in adapting traditional costumes to modern fashion, emphasizing the importance of striving for innovation and creative freedom in executing personal projects. During the master classes, students were introduced to the key aspects of fashion design, as well as the latest trends and technologies in the fashion industry.

The main goal of the meeting was to introduce young people to the secrets of the fashion industry, inspire future designers, and provide new opportunities for their professional growth. For the students, this meeting was not only about theoretical knowledge but also practical experience and the chance to establish professional connections. As a result of the meeting, the participants gained a new understanding of the features and potential of national fashion and strengthened their determination to achieve greater success in the future.
