Lecture on "Potato Bureau`: Public catering in the USSR during the first five-year plans"

On February 25, 2025, master`s students of the program 7M01605 - History: Social History of Modern and Contemporary Kazakhstan, accompanied by Professor T.T. Dalayeva, attended the lecture by François-Xavier Nérard, Associate Professor and Research Director at Panthéon-Sorbonne University, the expert in the social history of the USSR. The lecture took place at the French Alliance in Almaty (160 Dostyk Ave.) and focused on theme "The `Potato Bureau`: Public Catering in the USSR during the First Five-Year Plans."

Following the lecture, a lively discussion ensued, providing valuable insights for the master`s students of the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Kazakhstan named after Academician T. S. Sadykov of the Faculty of History and Law.
