Abai University Lecturer Delivered a Lecture on the Prevention of Religious Extremism and Terrorism

On March 11, 2025, a lecture on the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism was held at the Republican Specialized Boarding School-College of the Olympic Reserve named after K. Akhmetov.

The invited expert was Nurlan Orinbekov (PhD), a lecturer at the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines of the Faculty of History and Law at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.

During the lecture, the speaker discussed the characteristics of destructive religious movements, methods of spreading extremist ideologies, and the interrelation between national values and religious beliefs. He emphasized the importance of a high level of general culture and legal awareness in society and highlighted the role of strengthening traditions of tolerance within families and communities to ensure interfaith peace and harmony.

At the end of the meeting, participants received answers to all their questions.
