An Open Lesson on “Elementary Physics” Was Held

On March 28, 2025, senior lecturer Gulnur Zhanbekova from the Department of Methods of Teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics of Abai KazNPU conducted an open lesson on the subject of "Elementary Physics."

The open lesson was attended by the department`s teaching staff, including Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor Zh.K. Sydykova, Senior Lecturer A.B. Nurkhamyt, and Lecturer A.M. Shintemirov.

During the lesson, aimed at first-year students of the "6B01502-Mathematics-Physics" educational program, Gulnur Zhanbekova covered the topic "Electromagnetic Waves: Properties of Electromagnetic Waves." She demonstrated an experiment that illustrated the properties of electromagnetic waves.

Employing visual aids and modern teaching technologies, the lesson was conducted at a high standard, meeting all requirements. The lecturer explained the theoretical material, assigned practical tasks, and engaged the students in both group and pair work.
