The National Olympiad on Financial Security Took Place

On April 9, 2025, the National Olympiad on Financial Security was held at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, initiated by the Economic Investigation Department of Almaty Region.

The goal of this event was to enhance financial literacy among students and strengthen the fight against financial crimes.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Board-Rector Bolat Tilep, university leadership, faculty deans, professors, experts in financial security and law enforcement, as well as over 800 active students.

The event consisted of lectures, surveys, practical assignments, and case study tasks. Participants demonstrated their knowledge of financial legislation, payment system security, as well as skills in detecting and preventing financial crimes.

The best teams and individual participants were awarded valuable prizes and certificates, and were invited to intern at the Economic Investigation Department.
