OPEN TALKS: A Scholar`s Legacy Lives Through Students


As part of Science Week, an open lecture titled "OPEN TALKS: A Scholar`s Legacy Lives Through Students" was held with the participation of professor-researchers from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.


Moderator: Yertay Sultan - Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation.


Speakers included:
 Dr. Bakhytzhan Srazhatdinovich Akhmetov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor-Researcher, who spoke on the topic "Formation of a Scientific School."
 Dr. Olga Bisenovna Tapalova, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor-Researcher, with a presentation on "Strengthening Teachers` Mental Health Through Digital Technologies: The Potential of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Preventing Emotional Burnout."


 Dr. Kalbike Esenova Omirbaikyzy, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor-Researcher, addressed the topic "Continuity of Scientific Traditions."
 Dr. Zhanat Kunapiyanovna Nurbekova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor-Researcher, shared insights on "The Traditional Wisdom ‘A Scholar Without Students is Lost` and Artificial Intelligence: A New Perspective on Continuity in Science."

 

The event took place in the engaging and insightful open talks format, offering a platform for knowledge-sharing and discussion.
Young researchers, master`s students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty members actively participated by asking questions, sharing their opinions, and engaging in debates.


This gathering served as a meaningful and timely platform aimed at exploring the interconnection between science and tradition, technology and spirituality.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their gratitude to the speakers and voiced their support for organizing such meetings more frequently.
