Еducational trends and innovations in the era of generative artificial intelligence

On April 8, 2025, as part of the Decade of Science, the annual scientific and practical seminar "Еducational trends and innovations in the era of generative artificial intelligence", organized by Abai KazNPU, the Faculty of MFiI, the Department of Informatics and Informatization of Education, brought together teachers, researchers and students from all over the world to exchange ideas.

The following issues were discussed during the seminar:
- creation of a communication environment for studying trends and innovations in education in the era of generative artificial intelligence;
- increasing the participation of students, undergraduates, doctoral students, as well as young scientists and specialists in scientific and innovative activities;
- Presentation of scientific results, innovative ideas and projects of dissertation research of undergraduates and doctoral students to IT associations and educational organizations;
-The organization of professional relations between the participants of the seminar to study the world experience of scientific cooperation in areas related to AI and AI.
- Advising and assisting the authors of the best scientific reports at the seminar in preparing publications in highly rated journals included in the international database of WoS, Scopus, etc.

The event highlighted two values: Providing students and young researchers with the opportunity to actively participate in innovation;  Creating global connections through creativity, science, and progressive collaboration.

Artificial intelligence has become a force shaping our lives. The point is not to turn every student into an expert in artificial intelligence, but to help them understand the conscious and responsible use of AI.

Within the framework of the seminar, young researchers and doctoral students conducted a master class, organized competitions on creating a chatbot and developing programs. The scientific director of the seminar, Professor Nurbekova Zhanat, presented books about artificial intelligence to the winners of the competition.
