III Stage of the “Spartakiad - 2025” Sports Event for the Faculty and Staff of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University

On April 12, 2025, the III stage of the "Spartakiad - 2025" sports event for the faculty and staff of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was held, initiated by the Department of Social and Youth Policy. Maksat Zhakauov, Vice-Rector for Social Development, participated in the opening ceremony and wished all participants good luck.

The competitions, organized to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase physical activity, and strengthen collective relationships among the faculty, specialists, and staff of the university during their leisure time, included competitions in four sports: tug-of-war, chess, table tennis, and volleyball.

In the close competition, the Rectorate team, consisting of the university administration, took first place. The second place went to the team from the Faculty of Physical Education and Initial Military Training, and the third place was awarded to the team from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics.

In addition, teams from the Military Department, the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Geography, Philology, History and Law, which actively participated in the competitions and demonstrated a high level of skill, as well as the prize winners, were awarded with letters of appreciation, diplomas, and cash prizes on behalf of the Chairman of the Board - Rector.

At the end of the event, Maksat Zhakauov, Vice-Rector for Social Development, thanked the Trade Union Organization of the employees of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University for their support and sponsorship of the "Spartakiad - 2025" sports event.

He also sincerely congratulated all the participating teams and winners, wishing that such sporting events would not only strengthen unity within the collective but also become one of the traditions.
