The “Aru and Sultan of Abai” Contest Held at Abai University

Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai hosted the "Aru and Sultan of Abai" contest aimed at promoting national values and developing students` creative talents.

The contest consisted of three stages:
- The "Introduction" stage - participants introduced themselves and their faculties, demonstrated eloquent speech, Kazakh etiquette, and national identity.
- The "Talented Generation" stage - participants showcased their artistic skills by singing, playing traditional music, dancing, and reciting poetry.
- The "National Awareness" stage - contestants answered questions related to Kazakh customs, traditional clothing, history, and literature, assessing their knowledge and worldview.

Students selected from various faculties competed in the event. Their performances were evaluated by a panel of qualified judges.

According to the results:
- 1st place and the title "Aru and Sultan of Abai - 2025" were awarded to Galymzhan Zhumagaliev and Akmarzhan Manzhan from the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics.
- 2nd place went to Amir Omirzak and Leila Kabdizhanova from the Faculty of Philology.
- 3rd place went to Bakdaulet Userkulov and Aruzhan Kumarbek from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology.

Special nominations were awarded as follows:
- "Hope of Abai" - Beknur Aikhan and Nuray Sabitkyzy (Faculty of Physical Education and Military Training),
- "Audience Choice" - Miras Kurmangali and Nuray Daniyarkyzy (Faculty of History and Law),
- "Conscious Generation" - Orken Agylman and Saya Sugirbayeva (Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography),
- "Creative Couple" - Altair Baltabay and Altynai Baizak (Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute),
- "Outstanding Talent" - Aidos Seitkali and Asem Skhadiyar (Faculty of Arts).
